its amazing how Libyans in the world's eyes have changed, before we where a nation to be laughed at due to the embarrassment called gaddafi, a nation where when asked 'where are you from?' and you reply 'Libya' you always get that look with the reply of 'aaah gaddafi'!
well not anymore world! our people have brought libya to the forefront, they have alimented this gaddafi from Libya's vocabulary, watching a clip from Al-jazeera, a Syrian lady rang and was desperate for help for the syrians, she wanted NATO's help like whats happening in Libya and then she said something that made me feel sooooo proud, she said and if NATO cant come, then send us the youth of misrata!!!
you will see, post Gaddafi, inshallah Libya will be beautiful, a place that one will be proud of and the libyan pride will once again emerge.

Hello from New Orleans. And God bless the brave people of Libya. I'm certain they will soon be victorious. While I support the NATO air strikes, I don't believe the free world has done enough. I can't understand why no country has provided arms to the rebels. Surely Tunisia or Egypt could spare a few heavy weapons? Why hasn't the US, or any NATO country, funneled weapons to Syria and Libya? I'm befuddled. The rebels lack of arms is constantly brought up in the media, but I've yet to see the media ask WHY rebels still lack heavy weapons.
I'm praying for Libyans, Syrians, and all those who live under repressive regimes. I've written my Congressmen with the same question I asked above. We should be doing more to help.
maury bless you, i have asked the same questions as you, especially when we consider the fact that a few months before the revolution the west was supplying weapons to gaddafi, so if they can supply a dictator why not the people who want freedom????
your right the only thing we ask for is arms, especially the mountain areas who are using weapons from the world war!!!
i really hope and pray that this comes to an end soon and thank you and your people for your support, america has really stood with us and for that we will always be grateful ;)
Best of luck !
